Join our passionate foodie guide and immerse yourself in its enchanting history, taste and smells. Sample the best local street food classics, as pizza, gelato and traditional Roman sandwich, while meeting the truly “trasteverini”, the vendors and artisans who have been living and working there for generations.
Explore the history of the ancient Byzantine style church Santa Maria in Trastevere, while savouring the crunchy Roman style pizza from the famous bakery since 1870. Visit one of Rome’s oldest outdoor market Campo de Fiori and find out the best places to grab a fresh handmade suppli (typical Roman rice balls).
